CASE · WORDPRESS → SHOPIFY REPLATFORM · LIVE BUILD
Two WordPress sites, two markets.
Consolidated onto one Shopify platform.
A B2B wholesaler serving the Netherlands and Germany ran two separate WordPress storefronts — one per market — with wholesale signup and multi-language flags. Maintaining two sites was heavy. The brief: consolidate onto a single, cleaner Shopify platform, migrated safely with no disruption to live customers.
Two country sites, double the upkeep.
Separate WordPress storefronts per market, each with wholesale signup and language flags. Two codebases, two content sets, twice the maintenance — and a plan to migrate off WordPress entirely.
One staged Shopify rebuild, live sites untouched.
A Shopify rebuild staged on subdomains: unified store structure, cleaned-up menus and footers, full 301-redirect mapping from the old WordPress URLs, multi-market NL/DE storefronts, and wholesale signup preserved. The live WordPress sites keep serving customers untouched until cutover.
Milestone 4 shipped; cutover next.
Milestone 4 is shipped and approved; production cutover is the next milestone. We stage and review on subdomains so nothing touches live customers until the switch.
